Course content
|
Basics of general neurology - syndromes of the peripheral nerves, spinal cord, cerebellum, brain stem, diencephalon, brain lobes. Basic clinical examination methods, EEG, EMG, sonography, cerebrospinal fluid examination and assessment of cortical disorders.

Learning outcomes
|
The subject deals with basic neurology, with a special focus on chapters pertaining to the field of study. The subject also provides an overview of paraclinical instrumental diagnostic methods. Basics of general neurology - syndromes of the peripheral nerves, spinal cord, cerebellum, brain stem, diencephalon, brain lobes. Basic clinical examination methods, EEG, EMG, sonography, cerebrospinal fluid examination and assessment of cortical disorders.
Students receive basic information about current issues in general neurology and syndromology to the extent necessary for future rehabilitation workers.
