Course content
Clinical assessment in Rehabilitation. Functional movement diagnostics. Human movement as a function and possibilities for movement disorders evaluation. Preferences in motorics assessment. Principles and basic algorithms of movement assessment. Kinesiological analysis - aspection, palpation. Motorics assessment results interpretation. Anamnesis and aspection assessment. Palpation assessment, muscle tone evaluation, constitution. Movement evaluation, active and passive motorics assessment. Assessment of postural and respiratory motoric functions. Assessment of basic movement (dynamic) stereotypes. Assessment of steady (bipedal) posture. Functional assessment of postural reactivity. Palpation assessment of muscle-skeletal tissues. Barrier principle in palpation assessment. Palpation assessment of muscle-skeletal tissues. Barrier principle in palpation assessment. Principles for functional interpretation of clinical findings.

Learning outcomes
Basic overview of the clinical aspects of movement as a function and possibilities for the evaluation of movement disorders. Introduction to functional movement pathology, principles for the evaluation of movement disorders, possibilities for clinical diagnostics, instrumental objectification and clinical-physiological interpretation.
Students will learn how to assess standing posture and perform the functional assessment of postural reactivity; students will master basic techniques for the palpation evaluation of musculoskeletal tissues.
