Learning outcomes
Introductory lecture is devoted to the etymology of the concepts and terminology in the field of sculpture. Subsequently, the students clarified kinds of sculptures in terms of techniques, materials and tasks. Further discuss the role of sculpture and sculptors in ancient mythology and Judeo-Christian tradition. The following lectures pursuing Sculptors position in contemporary society and their contribution to the formation of theories of art and literature of the sculpture.

Prerequisites
Immatriculation to the bachelor degree of the History of Art.
