01 / Il Gesu in Rome Ignatius of Loyola (1491-1556) and the history of Societas Iesu 02 / The Plague and defenders in front of him Iconography of plague columns 03 / St. John of Nepomuk Life and the cult of the Saint of Baroque Bohemia 04 / Santa Casa in Loreto House of Virgin Mary of Nazareth and his cult in the Baroque 05 / Chapel of Our Lady of Einsiedeln and Altötting Miraculous Marian buildings in for the Alps and Baroque art in imitation of the Czech lands 06 / Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem Christ's tomb and its transformation in European art 07 / Holy Stairs in Rome Pilate's staircase bathed in the blood of Christ

Learning outcomes
The first lecture is focused on the history and iconography of the Jesuit order, which is monitored through the fusion of Baroque culture in the Czech Republic with its focal points in Italy and other European countries. Other topics include the history and cult of plague, st. patrons and St John of Nepomuk. The conclusion of the course is focused on the Catholic cult objects - Marian chapel in Loreto, Altötting and Einsiedeln, the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem and the Holy Stairs in Rome.

Prerequisites
The finished first year of the bachelor degree of the History of Art.

Oral exam

Detailed knowledge of the issues discussed documented the oral exam.
