Course content
1. The writing substances in the modern period. 2. The analysis of the Czech Neogothic writing. 3. The analysis of the German Neogothic writing. 4. The analysis of the German Neogothic running hand (kurent) after the year 1775. 5. The analysis of the modern Neogothic running hand. 6. The practitcal training of the reading of the different forms of the Neogothic Latin writing.

Learning outcomes
The evolution of the work competence with the text of the archival source, written with the Neogothic handwriting.
The orientation in the archival inventories, the discerning of the various forms of the Neogothic Latin handwriting, the basics of the "kurent" (the German Neogothic running hand) reading.
Prerequisites
The subject is intended for the students of the 2th. class of the bachelor studies in the field of study of the History of the Artistic Arts and of the Theatre Science.

Orientation in archival aids, recognizing different forms of neo-Latin fonts, basic reading, running hand
