The interpreted material is from authentic recordings of native speakers, fragments from TV and radio programmes or movies. The recordings are selected with a focus on social and economic issues..

Learning outcomes
This exercise is assigned to advanced students of Chinese Philology and its intention is to give them practical basis for conversion of texts in spoken Chinese language into Czech language. It is focused on the acquiring of basic interpretation skills, on the culture of spoken language in Czech and Chinese; memory, language, discourse and cognitive exercises are done, as well as training of consecutive interpretation from Chinese, gradually from shorter and easier fragments to those that are longer and more difficult. The interpreted material is from authentic recordings of native speakers, fragments from TV and radio programmes or movies. The recordings are selected with a focus on social and economic issues.
This course focuses on communication skills and aid students in developing fluency and listening comprehension in modern colloquial Chinese
Prerequisites
Exercise is assigned for the students of the third year of the bachelor program CHINESE PHILOLOGY.
