Course content
|
Field lessons didactic teaching geography takes place on a model workplace in the Moravian Karst in the village Jedovnice. While on this work, the students engaged in practical activities in the field and learn to theoretically and practically organize the teaching field. This form of instruction dwells on work in the field: to learn how to work out geographic characteristic of a small area and to use the following geographic skills at fieldwork: work with compass and with various types of maps, aerial photographs and orthophotomaps, plotting of route in thematic maps and confrontation with reality, comparison of changes in the landscape, monitoring of weather changes, working with natural materials etc.

Learning outcomes
|
Main objective is to acquaint students with basics of outdoor geography teaching, its importance and uses at the basic and grammar school.
Application of geographical teaching methods in field practice.
