Course content

Reading and translation of English scientific texts based on analysis of sentences and focused on gaining knowledge of chemical terminology, especially in the field of analytical chemistry.

Learning outcomes
|
Promotion of language skills related to comprehension of scientific texts in English, especially in the field of analytical chemistry.
Expansion of vocabulary. Ability to recognize the function and mutual relationship of words in a sentence based on determination of sentence constituents. Knowledge of the most frequently used formulations, phrases and idioms occuring in English scientific texts, especially in the field of analytical chemistry.
