Learning outcomes
|
The main aim is basic orientation in pathology focused on pathology of inflammation, oncological pathology and etiological pathology. Acquaintance with morphological correlates of organ and histological changes.
The student will be able to implement knowledge into consecutive clinical subjects. New information has contribution to summary of diseases that can have also extraoral manifestation.

Basic knowledges from anatomy, biology and histology.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance
Attendance to practical seminars is compulsory! The required attendance to practical seminars - a student is allowed to miss maximum one seminar. Students' preparedness for seminars will be continuously tested orally or written. Succesfull passing of the test = minimal 75% of correct answers is required. Unprepared students will be excluded from seminars. If a student fails to attend classes due to health or other serious reasons, they must attend substitute classes provided they have provided a satisfactory excuse. A maximum of two practical seminars may be made up for. Whether the reason stated is serious enough and excusable shall be determined by the respective teacher.
