Course content
|
The subject deals with special pharmacology of cardiovascular, respiratory and gastrointestinal systém, antiinfectives, hormones and anticancer drugs. Also deals with pharmacotherapy of specefic groups of patients (children, elderly and pregnant) a pharmacotherapy of urgent disorders and intoxications.

Learning outcomes
|
The student should be familiar with special pharmacology including principles of pharmacotherapy, drug adverse effects, important drug interactions and principles of pharmacotherapy in special age groups of patients.
The student should be able to use the knowledge both in his studies of clinical subjects and in his medical profession.

|
Completion of courses "Pharmacology 1", "Pathological Physiology" and "Microbiology 2".

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Mark, Oral exam, Written exam
Attendance at all practicals, at least 50% of lectures, passing all control tests and achieve at least 70% points. Passing the final test. In the failure to meet these conditions, oral examination of the topics discussed in lectures and practical exercises.
