Course content
Practical training is focused on instructive knowledge, skills, habits and work stereotypes / algorithms for nursing care in standard care departments, intensive care units, and medical rescue service. The student knows the health and safety regulations in all areas of nursing care, understands the obligation of respecting the principle of confidentiality, collects, processes and transmits information about patients / clients, processes the nursing history, works independently with patient documentation and uses it to monitor his / her needs. It compiles and gradually implements the nursing plan under natural conditions, continuously evaluates the nursing activities performed, respects the particularities of nursing care for each age category, adequately communicates with the patient and relatives, and other members of the nursing team. Correctly formulates and passes information to members of the medical team, manages the organization of work at the RLP-RZP-LZS exit office, practically applies its theoretical preclinical knowledge and skills in the work of the rescue service, knows the way of taking over and transferring patients, the first examinations and treatments in practice rescue service, is familiar with the organization and way of working at the control room of the ZZS, communicating with the callers, with the algorithms of operation and with other emergency services, knows the equipment and service of the ambulance equipment, is involved in the team of the crew of the rescue vehicle crew, a member of teams on emergency reception, intensive care units and anesthesiology - resuscitation departments, he / she manages the medical equipment needed to monitor patient / client status. She knows how to get pregnant in the birth hall, preparation for childbirth, psychotherapeutic approach, communication with the parent and relatives, way of conducting spontaneous delivery, newborn treatment, newborn resuscitation, assured transport of newborns, is able to assess the condition of the newborn, the main risks, basic nursing procedures, ensuring the transport of the newborn.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the professional practice is to get acquainted with the operation of individual types of healthcare facilities and gradual adaptation to the environment of healthcare facilities and rescue services.
After completing the IIB internship, students will: - to manage performance and stereotypes / algorithms for provision of nursing care according to the standards of ICU, ARO, UP - perform a nursing assessment of the patient's clinical status in the following areas: - nutrition, hydration, excretion, activity, comfort, breathing, skin condition, invasive inputs, perception, relationships - assemble and gradually implement the nursing plan under natural conditions - continuously evaluate the performed nursing activities - Perform all nursing care at the instigation of a mentor or authorized health care practitioner - to perform nursing interventions and basic nursing care and some specialized care in standard situations according to the standards of care for patients in obstetrics and gynecology departments - Apply their theoretical and preclinical knowledge and skills when working at rescue services - to respect the particularities of nursing care for each age category - Work independently with patient documentation - to show an active interest - Respect the nurses 'code of ethics and patients' rights - adequately communicate with the patient and relatives, with other members of the nursing team - Properly formulate and transmit information to members of the medical team - manage the work organization at the RLP-RZP-LZS Exit Component - Engage in the crew of the rescue vehicle crew - respect the principles of confidentiality - know how to take over and hand over patients, first examinations and treatments in a rescue service - familiar with the organization and the way of work at the PSC dispatch center - Know how to get pregnant in the delivery room, preparation for delivery, psychotherapeutic approach, communication with the parent and relatives, way of leading spontaneous delivery, newborn treatment, newborn resuscitation, ensuring newborn transport, know assessment of newborn condition, main risks, basic nursing procedures, ensuring the transport of the newborn

100% participation. Defending documentation based on tutor's requirements. Submitting a record of professional practice on passing the practice with its assessment within the clinical workplace and medical rescue service.
