The subject is based on the knowledge from the subject Psychiatry. It involves crisis intervetions focused on decompensation of psychiatric illness focused on decompensation of psychiatric diseases. The aim of the subject is to introduce the fundamental concepts, strategies and skills needed to understand and conduct effective crisis intervention in paramedic practice.
Student will be able: to introduce the fundamental concepts, strategies and skills needed to understand and conduct effective crisis intervention in paramedic practice to describe an crisis and crisis interventions to promote an effective (verbal and non-verbal) communication skills, behaviour in psychological first aid |
