Course content
Main topics of the subject: Nursing process in meeting human needs and therapeutic performances in adults and children in standard and pre-hospital emergency care: - the nursing process for oral drug delivery - nursing process for parenteral drug administration - nursing process when infusion is administered - the nursing process when applying the transfusion - the nursing process for the application of drugs to the airways - nursing process in a patient with UPV (ensuring airway patency, toilet airways) - nursing process for topical application of drugs - nursing process in a patient with intra-aortic balloon contra-pulsation, cardioversion, cardiostimulation and defibrillation - nursing process in the patient during hemoperfusion and hemodialysis - the nursing process when collecting the laboratory biological material - nursing process in puncture and endoscopy - nursing process in wound care, wound healing, - the nursing process in a patient with a stoma - CPR in hospital facilities - nursing process for a dying patient, death, death from transplantology, care for body of the deceased

Learning outcomes
Nursing practices are a theoretical and practical subject with a predominance of practical activities. The aim is to provide the knowledge and practical skills needed to perform nursing activities in children and adults in standard and urgent care. Nursing activities are implemented through the nursing process. Starting from a holistic and individual approach to the patient, they respect his rights.
Students will be able to perform procedures of nursing interventions with individual and situational variability corresponding to the latest trends. Students will be able to take care of the safe environment and the tools that are desirable for performing nursing activities.

Assessment methods and criteria
Mark, Oral exam, Didactic Test, Dialog, Seminar Work

Active participation in seminars and practical exercises, processing of solved problem with demonstration of adequate nursing course, verification of theoretical knowledge. Participation in practical exercises 90%.
