Main topics of the subject - Hygiene-epidemiological regime in accordance with the legislation governing the protection of public health - Nursing process in adults - standard surgical department, acute intake, surgical unit of intensive care, anesthesiology-resuscitation department - The specifics of the nursing process in an adult with a surgical headache (consciousness, brain and brain injuries) and throat (thyroid), chest (lungs, mammary gland), heart and blood vessels

Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the subject is to acquire knowledge and skills for provision of individual nursing care through the nursing process in adult patients with surgical disease in standard and pre-hospital emergency care.
Upon completion of the course students will be able to: - Assess the condition of patients and provide individual nursing care to patients with a surgical disorder - Specify nursing care for patients in standard surgical wards, acute wards, intensive care units, and anesthesia-resuscitation department - to specify the nursing process in an adult with a headache (consciousness, skull and brain injury) and throat (thyroid), chest (lung, gland), heart and blood vessels |
