Course content
1.Community - basic terminology and definitions. 2.Health 2020 programme. 3.Organization of community care in the Czech Republic. 4.Physiotherapy in the client's home environment. 5.Global recommendations for physical activity for health - specifics for each age category. 6.Physical activity in the community. 7.Assessing the physical fitness of seniors in the community. 8.Physical activity in fragile seniors.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basic terminological definition of community care and the range of exercises performed by the physiotherapist in community care. The course provides information on basic recommendations for physical activity and creates for students the theoretical base for implementation of education about physical activity in the community for different age groups. It also introduces the possibilities of physical activity in fragile seniors in the home environment and the involvement of a physiotherapist in home palliative care.
After completing the course, the student defines the basic terminology of the community, the organization of community care in the Czech Republic. The student knows to describe the points of Health 2020 programme, the specifics of physiotherapy in the client's home environment. The student can enumerate global recommendations on physical activity for health, individual points of involvement of physiotherapist in community activity.
