Tammo Straatmann Termín: 26. 9. 2018 Čas: 13:00 - 16:15 Místo: učebna 232 Katedra psychologie FF UP Olomouc; Vodární 6 Informace pro DSP studenty: primárně určen pro studenty DSP pedagogická a klinické psychologie a bude jim započítán do povinností ve STAGU pod zkratkou: PCH/92AS6 Abstrakt: Retention management along the employee life cycle The lecture will focus on the stages of employee life cycle which are relevant for employer branding purposes, including attraction, onboarding, retention, transition and connection. In a first step, basics of employer branding will be presented. Secondly, the lecture covers the onboarding process of new employees. Under the scope of retention, aspects of the psychological contract and the organizational commitment will be discussed. As a last, but also important stage of the employee life cycle the lecture will elaborate on the transition and connection stages. The lecture will be a mixture of theoretical presentation, practical examples and practical exercises. Furthermore, the relevance of attachment theory in the organizational context will be shown, both from a conceptual side and from an empirical side. A core element of the lecture will be to derive implications of the attachment perspective for organizational human resource management along the employee life cycle, as well as for organizational research. The lecture will be a mixture of theoretical presentation, practical examples and practical exercises.
