Course content
Lessons 17 - 20 (expressing intention: tsumori, yotei; expectations: hazu; probability: yoo, mitai, soo, rashii; yari-morai verbs (ageru - kureru - morau); polite structures; onomatopoeia etc.)

Learning outcomes
This course is designed to develop students' Japanese language skills, both spoken and written, at the pre-intermediate to intermediate level. The course continues with introducing basic Japanese grammar structures and developing vocabulary. The instruction is closely coordinated with Japanese 4B.
On successful completion of this subject, students will be able to: demonstrate a good command of basic Japanese grammar structures and pre-intermediate to intermediate competency in reading and writing Japanese.
Prerequisites
Successful completion of the courses Japanese 1 - 2.

preparation for classes, active participation in class, final test (70% = passing)
