It should result in the ability to process own data with the help of common exploratory methods on PC, understand the results of data exploration, and prepare them for graphical presentation (talk, diploma thesis etc). We will focus on the understanding of the logic of the method and its practical mastering, not on theory of data analysis. Excercises will be done in freely available statistical programme R, which will strongly increase practical utility of the skills obtained. This programme is currently lingua franca of biological sciences and thus students will be able to use their skills at any lab they will come to later in their career.
