Course content
|
1. Introduction to land law and land ownership - object and subjects of land law, sources and system of Czech land law, land ownership, land ownership of state and territorial self-governing units. 2. Encumbrance, land use rights, expropriation. 3. Cadastre and land consolidation. 4. The legal regime of the agricultural land fund, land designated for the fulfillment of forest functions. 5. The legal regime of lands in nature and landscape, lands intended for water management. 6. The legal Regime for Exploration and Mining Exploration, legal regime of building plots.

Learning outcomes
|
Upon completion of the subject the student will have acquired basic orientation in the field of land law. The central concept of the subject will be land and legal relationships.The student will acquire knowledge in the field of private law , such as property relations to land, usage relationships, but also knowledge of specific legal relations connected with the ownership of the state and territorial self-governing units. Further, the student acquires knowledge of public law standards relating to specific types of land - the agricultural land fund, land intended for forest functions. Last but not least, the student will gain knowledge in the field of regulation and the operation of the Land Register, the purpose and course of land regulation. The seminar lessons will be focused not only on summarizing and disseminating the subject itself, but also on practical issues related to the land law, e.g. filling in the form for record in the Land Register, preparation of some types of contracts, purchase contracts, lease agreements, etc. Upon completion of the subject the student will have acquired basic orientation in the field of land law.
