1. Introduction. Administrative science and related sciences. Subject and methods of administrative science. 2. Administrative activities, decision-making processes in the public administration. 3. Principles of administrative organization. 4. Organization of public administration in the Czech Republic. 5. Public administration employees. 6. Control and evaluation of public administration.

Learning outcomes |
The main aim of the course is to gain deeper knowledge and orientation in selected aspects of modern public administration. It provides the knowledge of administrative law, sociology, political science and other humanities. The course focuses on issues of administrative activities including decision-making processes, models of administrative organization in modern democratic countries, public administration employees and official service, a human factor, the role of ethics in the public administration and control and evaluation of the public administration.
Students who have completed this course will gain the knowledge necessary for independent scientific research of public administration. |
