Course content
1. Eye tracking. 2. Galileo. 3. Web application for weather forecast. 4. Web application for transport analysis. 5. Map based applications for Android. 6. National web portals / atlases. 7. 3D visualization. 8. Navigation systems for mobile phones. 9. Sport applications. 10. Location Based Services. 11. New satellites. 12. Geoweb 2.0, Mushups, Online GIS, Web based GIS. 13. Laser-scanning.

Learning outcomes
The objective of VCJ/ATPG2 is to develop essential presentation skills and to build English vocabulary related to geoinformatics using selected topics.
Aquisition of specific terminology on the B1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference.
Prerequisites
Students must have a minimum language level in English of level B1+ of the Common European Framework for Languages.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam, Written exam

Students are required to attend the classes although they may be absent twice per semester and they must participate in an active way. They must prepare for the classes as required by their teachers, including completing Extra Practice tasks and learning vocabulary. They must successfully pass the exam.
