Learning outcomes |
The objective of VCJ/ATPB1 is to develop essential presentation skills and to build English vocabulary related to biology using selected topics from the secondary school curriculum on B2 level.
Acquisition of specialised terminology on the B1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference. |
Prerequisites |
Students must have a minimum language level in English of level B1 of the Common European Framework for Languages. A very good knowledge of grammar is expected since grammar is not taught in the course.

Assessment methods and criteria |
Written exam
Students are required to attend the classes although they may be absent twice per semester and they must participate in an active way. They must prepare for the classes as required by their teachers, including learning vocabulary. They must successfully pass the ungraded exam (min. 70%) |
