Learning outcomes
The objective of VCJ/ATF1 is to develop essential presentation and communication skills and to build English vocabulary related to physics using selected topics. It covers basic terminology and phraseology related to the topics, and it also focuses on presenting the topic to an audience (choice of words and grammatical structures, stress, intonation, nonverbal communication, etc.). It develops language skills at the B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Acquisition of specialised language on the B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference.
Prerequisites
Students must have a minimum language level in English of level B1+ of the Common European Framework for Languages. A very good knowledge of grammar is expected since grammar is not taught in the course.

Assessment methods and criteria
