Learning outcomes
The objective of the discipline is to provide an overview of modern trends in the attitudes to persons with hearing impairment as members of a language and cultural minority. In terms of content, the discipline covers the development of terminology in the area of socialization, inclusion of individuals with hearing impairment in the majority society, analysis of individual integration movements and evaluation of procedures in the area of school integration, specifics of the socialization process of persons with hearing impairment in the social, cultural and professional areas in relation to applicable legislation.
