The aim of the subject is a comprehensive and detailed insight, analysis and comparison of historically based and contemporary scientific-research findings about the phonation process and its disturbances, voice disorders and speech sound disorders (problems of resonance disorders ? rhinolalia and palatolalia and related difficulties) and audiogenically conditioned communication disorders in the context of the impact of their impact on verbal communication (accentuation of the speech therapy point of view). Developmental aspects will be monitored across age categories, links to primary illness or disability, or cultural and linguistic specifics, as well as social aspects and the quality of life of persons with these difficulties. A comprehensive overview of the issue includes the application of interdisciplinary scientific and research knowledge from the field of speech therapy, psychology, linguistics, acoustics, neuroscience, ENT, phoniatrics and vocalology and other related fields in a contemporary and historical context. Emphasis is placed on the application of national and international scientific research and on the comparison of scientific research knowledge in the field of terminology, symptomatology and classification, incidence, etiology, diagnosis and differential diagnosis, complex therapy, prevention and prognosis of communication disorders. Knowledge from the field of special education, medicine, psychology and linguistic disciplines will be applied and compared in direct differential-diagnostic and intradisciplinary therapeutic contexts.
