Learning outcomes
The goal of the discipline is an insight into the issues of the special pedagogical discipline of deafpedia, which is a prerequisite for establishing the general foundations and theoretical starting points for working with a child with a hearing impairment of preschool age and children in whom a primary hearing impairment is accompanied by a secondary impairment of vision, intellect and mobility. The content of the course includes the issues of deaf-pedic diagnostics, differential diagnostics and counseling. It presents a current view of the education of hearing-impaired children from the point of view of profiling approaches to education in terms of the preferred communication system and provides an overview of the current system of institutional care for hearing-impaired individuals. Part of the teaching is the acquisition of the basics of specific communication skills, which are necessary for communicating with hearing-impaired children within the framework of intercultural communication. Thematic areas: "Possibilities of diagnosing hearing disorders. " Specifics of counseling for individuals with hearing impairment. "Current trends in the education of hearing impaired children.
