Learning outcomes
The goal of the discipline is insight into the issues of the special pedagogical discipline of deaf pedia, which is a prerequisite for determining the general foundations and theoretical starting points for working with a child with a hearing impairment and children in whom a primary hearing impairment is accompanied by a secondary impairment of vision, intellect and mobility. The content of the course includes the issue of communication of people with hearing impairment, especially the specific communication systems of people with hearing impairment (Czech sign language, signed Czech, finger alphabets). Part of the teaching is the acquisition of the basics of specific communication skills, which are necessary for communicating with people with hearing impairments within the framework of intercultural communication. Teaching theses: Theory of communication, communication competence. Communication systems of the hearing impaired. Visual-motor communication systems of people with hearing impairment.
