Learning outcomes
Theater experience is required as part of drama therapy practice. Working with the body, the voice, the ability to lead a project dramaturgically and as a director is absolutely necessary for drama therapy practice. Therapeutic theater is a specific approach to theater, the goal of which is to reflect on one's own personality and, with the help of self-reflection, create a theatrical form that allows the audience to see into the motives of the theater author. Introspection is required in all disciplines touching on the therapeutic process. In this case, the therapeutic theater will allow the students/authors to glimpse their inner thought processes and transform them into theatrical images and a complete theater play. The process of teaching drama therapy is necessarily linked to self-experience, and exploration using therapeutic theater makes this possible. Locally sourced therapeutic theater is a relatively new thing. During the teaching and the subsequent performance, it is also possible to introduce the public to the field of drama therapy and thus educate the lay and professional public. Teaching theses: - Public billed performance - Self-experience - Dramaturgy and directing therapeutic theater - Implementation of new approaches to drama therapy education - Realization of a specific theater project - Exploration of the theme of therapeutic theatre
