The content of this course is to acquire practical basics of diagnosis and intervention focused on aphasia, dysarthria, and individuals with symptomatic speech disorders such as Down syndrome, intellectual disabilities, hearing impairments, visual impairments, and individuals with ADD and ADHD.

Students must meet the attendance requirements and demonstrate practical skills related to the topics covered, which they will acquire during classes and speech therapy internships in the winter and summer semesters of the third year. Students actively develop and present the skills they have acquired under the supervision of the course instructor. The practical training includes joint oral and written analyses of audiovisual recordings made during classes with the aim of detecting, analyzing, identifying, and discussing possible correct and incorrect speech therapy procedures and strategies. Teaching theses: - Aphasia - practical acquisition of basic methods of diagnosis and intervention of aphasia using available test methods in the context of speech therapy work. - Aphasia - practical acquisition of basic methodology for aphasia intervention in relation to speech therapy intervention in the context of speech therapy work. - Dysarthria - practical acquisition of basic methodology for dysarthria diagnosis in relation to speech therapy intervention in the context of speech therapy work. - Dysarthria - practical acquisition of basic methods of dysarthria intervention in relation to speech therapy intervention in the context of speech therapy work. - Practical training in specific methods of speech therapy diagnosis in persons with symptomatic speech disorders with primary hearing impairment. - Practical training in specific speech therapy intervention methodology for individuals with symptomatic speech disorders with primary hearing impairment. - Practical training in specific speech therapy diagnosis methodology for individuals with symptomatic speech disorders with primary visual impairment.
After completing this course, students will be familiar with the practical basics of diagnosis and intervention for people with aphasia, dysarthria, symptomatic speech disorders such as Down syndrome, intellectual disabilities, hearing impairments, visual impairments, and people with ADD and ADHD. |

Dialog, Systematic Observation of Student
The condition for completing the seminar is active participation in practical exercises. Activity during lessons + written compilation of a therapeutic plan for the patient based on a joint diagnosis made during the lesson. The condition for completing the colloquium is successful completion of the colloquium - active discussion of the topics covered. |
