Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to master the specifics of the approach to visually impaired individuals according to age, type and depth of visual impairment, including the characteristics of differences in the educational process for individual groups of visually impaired persons with an emphasis on the contemporary concept of lifelong education. The intention is to learn the principles of working with pupils with visual impairments at elementary and secondary schools, with an emphasis on mastering the application of special didactic and methodological approaches with regard to the age of the pupil, the type and depth of visual impairment and the teaching subject. Learning to work with educational compensatory aids, especially with modern information technologies. Thematic areas: - The concept of inclusive and "special education" of visually impaired pupils. - School and SPC cooperation for pupils with visual impairments. - Didactic and methodological differences in teaching a blind student. - Didactic and methodological differences in teaching a pupil with low vision. - Didactic and methodological differences in teaching a pupil with residual vision. - Didactic and methodological differences in teaching a pupil with binocular vision impairment. - Educational compensatory aids for students with visual impairments.
