Course content
The course focuses on acquiring theoretical and practical experience in conducting and using the interview method in counseling work. The course content will include solving practical situations through conducting interviews, simulations, and using VTI to reflect on the procedural and content aspects of conducting interviews in counseling.

Learning outcomes

After completing the course, students will be familiar with various methods and techniques for conducting interviews with clients in the context of special education. They will have a theoretical understanding of various concepts and theories defining the interview process with regard to the requirements of a specific situation or clientele. In practical terms, they will be able to conduct counseling, diagnostic, and supportive interviews. They will recognize and identify techniques and principles suitable for use in counseling, diagnostic, crisis, supervisory, and other situations.
