Learning outcomes
The content of the subject is weekly training for students, which is focused on practicing specific counseling situations. Consulting situations from the area will be presented and practiced using simulated examples: - Principles of communication with the family of a child with a disability (adaptation of communication strategies to the situation in the family) - Development of communication skills of individual family members - Counseling for families with a child with a life-limiting diagnosis - Identification of the consulting contract (interview with the client - his legal representative) - Presentation of case studies from the consulting sector - in healthcare, education and social services - Communication with the employees of the institutions that participated (participates) in solving the consulting contract - The course of the consulting service - Crisis intervention - Area of supervision and self-care in helping professions Required reading: BROŽ, Filip a Daniela VODÁČKOVÁ.
