The goal of the discipline is to acquaint students with the theoretical foundations and general methodology of special diagnostics, with the basic definition of the subject and concepts, with diagnostic terminology in the broader sense of the word as a starting point for special pedagogical diagnosis of children of pupils and students with specific needs. The content of the course will also include familiarization with specific procedures, methods and tests that are used in the framework of complex special education diagnostics nowadays with regard to the age and specifics of the clients, also with regard to the facility in which the diagnosis is carried out. The aim of the subject is to teach students to use the diagnostic process and the conclusions of the diagnosis when determining support measures in the framework of supporting inclusive education. Teaching theses: - Definition of individual types of diagnostics and terminology. - Static and dynamic diagnostic approaches. - Diagnostics of sub-functions and its importance for determining support measures. - Clinical methods in special education diagnostics. - Test methods in special education diagnostics. - Diagnostic interview with the parent, ZZ of the child. - Diagnostic value of children's drawings from the point of view of a special pedagogue and from the point of view of a psychologist. - Game activities in special educational diagnosis and analysis of activity products.
