Course content
After completing the course, students should be able to: - Clarify the concept of special education, subject and field goals, use valid terminology - Discuss the relationship of people with disabilities, the impact of disability on the child's family with a child with disabilities and family support services from early intervention, the quality of life for people with disabilities, - Information on the legislative definition of pupils with special needs and counseling services for students and their families through education. Main topics: - Special educations terminology, the relationship of people with disabilities or handicap, quality of life for people with disabilities or handicap, family with child with special needs, early care, legislation, education of pupils with special needs, counseling services for students with special needs .

Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students should be able to: - Clarify the concept of special education, subject and field goals, use valid terminology - Discuss the relationship of people with disabilities, the impact of disability on the child's family with a child with disabilities and family support services from early intervention, the quality of life for people with disabilities, - Information on the legislative definition of pupils with special needs and counseling services for students and their families through education.
