In lectures and seminars, students will learn about the possible effects of individual types and types of disability on the personality of the wearer, but also on his family.
Students will understand and be able to navigate issues related to disabilities and people with disabilities.

Completed course in general psychology.

Assessment methods and criteria

Student performance
- Knowledge will be assessed through discussion of specific examples demonstrating understanding of the topic. - Professional portfolio. - Final written test. - Oral knowledge test. - Students' knowledge will be assessed orally/in writing within the scope of lectures and basic literature. - Study results will be verified through discussions in seminars and ongoing didactic tests in the LMS MOODLE environment. The final output of the course will be a semester paper. - The exercises will involve working with texts and subsequent discussions or debates on current issues. To complete the course, students are required to write an essay or analysis on a selected topic and participate in a subsequent colloquium discussion. - Active participation in class, practice of practical skills - Minimum 80% active participation in exercises, completion of individually assigned tasks. Verification of knowledge through a written test with a minimum pass mark of 75%.
