The aim of the subject is to deepen the competence of the students in the field of diagnostic, intervention and counseling work with children of preschool age with an emphasis on the early age at risk of developing impaired communication skills. Emphasis is placed on the interdisciplinary concept of work and intervention focused on the support provided to families of children with special educational needs, educators in preschool education and caregivers. Thematic areas: ? Organization of counseling in speech therapy in the Czech Republic by department. ? Functional communication. ? Possibilities of stimulation in the pre-verbal and verbal period of speech, language and communication development. ? Non-directive communication strategy. ? Basics of diagnosing the child's communication and communication with the child in the family, in the school setting, outside the family and the school setting. ? How to communicate with a family caring for a child with impaired communication skills? How to communicate with children in a classroom where a child with impaired communication skills is being educated? ? Communication support of a child with impaired communication ability according to the type of impaired communication ability. ?
