Learning outcomes
Public performance aims to provide students with an authentic experience in a formative way in the form of performing in front of an audience. The form and type of expression, including the means, is chosen by the student (rather, the student group, as it is mostly assumed that the performance will be in the form of an author's theater, a so-called small scene, an exhibition with commentary, a concert with commentary) after consultation with the supervisor. The preparation of the output (again an authentic experience) develops organizational, directorial, or dramatic, dramaturgical and scenographic, artistic and musical abilities of the students and is demanding on the application of theoretical knowledge of these fields acquired in the previous study. Emphasis is also placed on role play with elements of improvisation and in the form of simulation - alteration - characterization so that the student is capable of acting within a simple dramatic form, artistic performance, concert with improvisation, etc.. The discipline is time and organizationally as well as creatively very demanding, it briefly contains the entire dramatic and dramaturgical plan of the ?theatre of small forms? from choosing a theme and template, preparing and installing an art exhibition, rehearsing a concert and realizing an expressive form in front of an audience on stage in a poster performance/opening.
