The aim of the subject Introductory excursion to special facilities is to enable students to get a basic orientation in various types of organizations providing special educational support to adults with disabilities or social disadvantage. The contents of the excursions consist of a visit to three different special educational facilities aimed at different target groups of adult clients. In particular, content and organizational structure, application of methods and procedures within the special pedagogical process, material and technical equipment, documentation and team cooperation will be monitored. Completing the excursion will provide the student with an initial introduction to various types of organizations and services and the possibility of a more responsible and accurate choice of the focus of further studies.
