The subject Music Therapy 2 deepens the level of understanding of music therapy issues that students acquired in the subject Music Therapy 1. The aim of the subject is to equip students with basic practical skills and gain a theoretical understanding of how these skills, methods and procedures are applied within the therapeutic process. The concept of the subject is based on the division of the therapeutic process into the phase of recommendation and therapy (including client evaluation), implementation of music therapy according to the music therapy plan and evaluation / termination of the music therapy process. Within these phases, students will deepen their knowledge of methods for assessing/evaluating the music therapy process, forms and types of music therapy, the use of improvisational, interpretive, compositional and listening methods and techniques. As part of the exercises, students will practice these skills using practical examples in the form of improvisational exercises, role plays, reflective video recordings in a group, etc. interdisciplinary team and other professionals about the indications, contraindications and nature of music therapy, create therapeutic contracts, establish long-term and short-term therapeutic goals, choose the appropriate form and approach of music therapy with regard to indications and contraindications, formulate a music therapy plan, and evaluate the music therapy process.
