The aim of the course Introduction to Special Needs Education 1 is to provide students with an introduction to the field of special needs education. In the course, students will become acquainted with basic information providing an overview of the related fields of special needs education. Syllabus: " The concept of the field of special needs education. " Brief historiography of special needs education - development of the field and personages contributing to it. " Development of terminology in special needs education, terminology currently used in the Czech Republic and abroad. " Shifts in the paradigm of special needs education in the Czech Republic, current trends in special needs education. " Development of the position of people with a disability or disadvantage within society. " Socialization of people with a disability or disadvantage - the perspective of psychology and special needs education - a fundamental change in the perception of socialization of people with a disability or disadvantage from the perspective of special needs education.
Výstupy předmětu vycházejí z dílčího profilu absolventa vztahujícího se k dané disciplíně.
