The discipline treats the system and functioning of the counselling.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the introductory excursion to special facilities is to provide students with basic orientation in various types of organizations or institutions providing special education support to people with different kind of disabilities or social disadvantages. The content of the excursions consists of a visit to three different special educational facilities aimed at different target groups. The content and organizational structure, application of methods and procedures within the special education process, material and technical equipment, documentation and team cooperation will be monitored. Completion of the excursion will provide the student with an introduction to various types of organizations, institutions and services and the possibility of a more responsible and accurate choice of students specialization in the professional career after study.
The outcomes of the subject are based on partial profile of the subject`s absolvent.
