Course content
General introduction to communication in special education counseling. The family as a specific and individual communication environment. Signs and codes in communication. Forms of communication and their use. Communication models - practical activities. Communication with children who are ill or disabled. Communication skills - soft techniques. Communication in Crisis Situations - Practical Activities. Special educator - communication skills. Communication is a key part of counseling work, focusing on clients in difficulty. Communication Strategies in Counseling - Practical Activities. Personality concepts in communication, approaches, and techniques. Communication in an interdisciplinary concept.
