        Injury, definition, classification of injuries, diagnostics in traumatology  Blunt (closed) and open injuries (wounds)  Fractures, fracture healing, fracture healing disorders  Treatment of fractures  Fractures in children  Polytrauma  Complications of injuries (compartment syndrome, crush syndrome, bone and soft tissue infections, CRPS), thermal injuries  Pelvic and acetabular fractures  Chest injury  Abdominal injury  Injury to the skeleton and soft tissues of the shoulder girdle  Skeletal and soft tissue injuries in the elbow area  Injuries to the skeleton and soft tissues of the bones of the forearm, wrist and hand  Injury to the upper end of the femur and thigh  Injury to the skeleton and soft tissues in the area of the knee joint  Calf and ankle injuries  Leg injury The content of the subject is training of practical traumatological skills following the theoretical lessons of Traumatology. Introduction to the work at the traumatological ward (ward-rounds, admission of patients), outpatient department (small surgical procedures, sutures) and assistance at the operation theatre.

                To introduce students to the specifics of traumatology. Demonstrate the basic volume of theoretical knowledge - etiology, diagnosis, options for conservative and surgical therapy.
                 
                Students become familiar with traumatology, absorb the basic amount of theoretical knowledge related to the specifics of the field.
