Course content
|
During the lessons students learn diagnostic and practical procedure in the treatment of acute conditions at the emergency office in the premises of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department. The theoretical knowledge and practical skills will be supervised by doctors and lecturers Institude of Dentistry and Oral sciences and Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Learning outcomes
|
APracticing diagnostic procedures and practical interventions in the treatment of acute conditions on emergency medical service.
Students gain theoretical and practical knowledge about patient´s treatment on the emergency medical service. They also learn about the spectrum of performance provided in emergency care system and their payment.

Prerequisites
|
Good theoretical and practical knowledge of previous subjects - Pre-Clinical Dentistry 1, PreClinical Dentistry 2, Preventive Dentistry and Cariology 1, Preventice dentistry and Cariology 2, Normal Anatomy of the Head and Neck, Dental Radiology, Endodontics.
