The course is part of the third pillar of the study programme developing the student's professional skills and general abilities; a secondary goal is also the strengthening of knowledge, as a deep structured knowledge of the subject is a prerequisite for the knowledge to be communicated in a comprehensible way. The course builds on the Pedagogical Propedeutics in the first year of study. It is designed as a four-semester course and is intended for students specializing in Private Law. In the fourth semester of the course, the student is expected to have already achieved a certain level of pedagogical skills, so the student is again required to give one selected lecture during the semester in cooperation with the lecturer. In cooperation with the lecturer, the topic of the lecture is selected and the student is required to prepare adequately for teaching the lecture, including studying the literature specified by the lecturer, preparing the lecture and submitting it to the lecturer for review. Subsequently, the student is entrusted to conduct the lecture in the presence of his/her lecturer. At the same time, the student, under the guidance of the lecturer, is required to actively teach the minimum number of hours of seminar classes according to the chosen form of study.
Students who have completed this course will gain the knowledge necessary to understand the features of law.
