Course content
Radiation techniques, megavolt therapy, brachytherapy, radiotherapy of benign diseases.

Learning outcomes
Students are introduced to the basic techniques of ionizing radiation therapy ranging from preparing the radiation treatment plan and choosing the irradiation conditions, methods of radiation targeting and reproduction to radiation techniques. Based on radiation sources, instruction proceeds from the simplest techniques of static therapy to rotational therapy.
Under supervision students are able to use irradiation techniques of static and rotational therapies, X-ray therapy and megavolt therapy.
