Course content
During interactive seminars, the students will be introduced to the latest imaging methods such as: ultrasonography (US), computerised tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to present students with the principles of diagnostic ultrasound imaging, with CT and MRI imaging, with preparation of the patient for the procedures. Students will also be introduced to each imaging method, such as ultrasound, CT and MRI imaging, principles of imaging and diapeutic methods in interventional cardiology. The course focuses on examining different body parts as well as knowledge about radiologic anatomy. Another aim is to acquire skills to use the PACS and NIS systems.
The course is followed by practical instruction. Under a professional supervision students are able to assist in interventions of diapeutic and interventional radiology, in individual US, CT and MRI examinations.
