|
Students practise specialized work at a radiodiagnostic unit, nuclear medicine units and in a radiation room of the oncology clinic in the course of the practice.
Students are familiar with using individual imaging techniques in the practice, preparation of contrast media, and assistance at examinations of the gastrointestinal and uropoietic systems. They are able to assist in angiology examinations under supervision. They can use patient records, the radiation treatment plan, and individual radiation techniques. In nuclear medicine workplaces students learn the radiation protection principles; they will improve their Competencies of measuring for the needs of protection dosimetry. Under supervision they can work with imaging systems for scintigraphy.
