Course content
Students will get familiar with interventional cardiology and special radiology. An integral part of the course is work with PACS and NIC systems and training in human anatomy in all imaging methods.

Learning outcomes
The aim is to familiarize students with diapeutic and interventional radiological methods and procedures as well as principles of ultrasound imaging; the principles of imaging by means of computer technology, magnetic resonance, and the preparation of the patient for these procedures; Students learn the techniques of US, CT and MRI examinations of individual parts of the human body, and transverse section anatomy are studied in detail. The subject innovation has been supported by the project Support of Interdisciplinary studies and Study Programmes Innovations at Palacký University in Olomouc, CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0091.
The course is followed by practical instruction. Under a professional supervision students are able to assist in interventions of diapeutic and interventional radiology, in individual US, CT and MRI examinations.

Oral exam

100% attendance in seminars. The student is required to work with the learning objects, which have been created for the concrete subject and are available for authorized students in LMS EDIS.
