1. Principles and background of health promotion, assessment of health promotion in the Czech Republic 2. Health promotion programs and strategies in communities, WHO main documents 3. Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the subject is to introduce the population approach in health care, the main documents of health promotion in the Czech Republic and at the international level, tools used in the public health protection. The aim is to clarify that health protection and promotion is a combination of public and individual responsibility for health with the use of tools of society. The issue of vaccination will as a basic tool in the protection of public health will be taught, as well as the methodology of community preventive programmes, the possibilities of prevention in nutrition.
Student will understand the organization of activities aimed to protection and improvement of health of population and population groups, including valid legislation.

For course completion it is required to completely develop a community preventive programme. Oral exam.
